King Ellis to open for Erykah Badu @ the Orpheum TONIGHT!

Memphis MRC member King Ellis is going to open for Erykah Badu’s performance at the Orpheum Theatre tonight, September 10th. Badu is performing as a part of the 20th annual Southern Heratige Classic Festival as a representative of the ‘Classic’ sound of R&B music, only represented thorough a modern voice. King Ellis smooth, soulful performance will be a perfect compliment to Badu’s sound, but also to the CLassic R&B concept of the show.
