On Tuesday April 28th, some music students from the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music will have the opportunity to share their personal compositions. These students will conduct the ensemble in a performance of their own works.

This concert is entitled “New Sounds” and will be a display of the newest musical innovations of U of M music students. This is an exciting opportunity for young composers to present their creativity and hard work, bringing to life the music they have envisioned and created. The concert is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Harris Concert Hall located in the University of Memphis’s Music Building at 3775 Central Ave.
