GoodSearch for Good Prizes
The Memphis Music Foundation has a shot at raising $5,000, but we need your help! And in return, we’ll give you some goodies…
For THREE DAYS ONLY, the people over at GoodSearch will donate $1 (up to $5,000 total) for every toolbar that is downloaded between Wednesday, May 19th at 11 am and Friday, May 21st at 11 am (Central)! To help our cause benefit from this contest, please download our toolbar here.
The toolbar is free to download and allows you to raise money for the foundation virtually every time you search or shop online! Once added to IE or Firefox, each time you shop at more than 1,400 stores (from Amazon to Zazzle!) a percentage of your purchase will automatically be donated to our cause – at no cost to you (and you may even save money as the toolbar also provides you thousands of discount coupons and free shipping offers!). The toolbar also has a search box and each time you search the Internet, about a penny is donated to us.
If you never use the toolbar again, we’ll forgive you 😉 but please at least download it so that we can earn the $1 bonus per toolbar! When you do, leave a comment here (with your email address), at the bottom of this post, letting us know. On Monday, May 24th, we will randomly select (by comment number) two lucky people as winners of awesome MMF prize packages– including a commemorative CD from our showcase at the historical Bluebird Cafe this year (featuring artists Jeremy Stanfill, Joy Whitlock, Jason Freeman, and Billie Worley), a one-of-a-kind South by Southwest vinyl, and your very own Memphis Means Music t-shirt!
Please pass this along to all of your friends, tweeps, blends, neighbors..whomever! The two minutes it takes to add this toolbar to your browser can make a lifetime of difference for Memphis music!
(To be eligible for the MMF prize package, you must leave your comment on this post during the time of the contest- between 11 a.m. on Wednesday, the 19th and 11 a.m. on Friday, the 21st. Thanks!)
