Ballet Memphis takes Memphis music to D.C., gets raves for ‘In Dreams’

Ballet Memphis took In Dreams, featuring the music of Sun Studios recording artist Roy Orbison, to Washington, D.C. last week and it seems the capital city is still buzzing. More than 6,000 people saw the show during three performances, and according to Ballet Memphis Director of Development Roger Johnson, “we received the best reviews and probably the most enthusiastic response of any of the nine companies.”
