David Gillard

David was born in Chicago, Illinois to Apostle Kenneth & Charlita Gillard. Through the leading of the Lord, moved to Memphis with his family where he has resided since.  When one listens to his lyrics, you can’t help but feel the anointing and confirmation that David was called to minister in this gospel of Jesus Christ through the music industry.

His first CD Called to the Nations delivered a series of passionate gospel performances along with heartfelt worship and was said to lead the listeners into the presence of Holy of Holies. Recorded live at Cathedral of Praise in 2005, Called to the Nation premiers a collection of Spirit -filled musical testimony to the power of the living God.

Following the success of his CD, David continued his musical career by producing and writing songs for top artist in the industry including Vickie Winans, Tremaine Hawkins, Nikki Ross, Byron Cage, Dave Hollister, Sheri Jones-Moffett and many others. David remains focused on his God given purpose and says “I love what I’m doing. I know this is my assignment. I love writing music, producing and fulfilling my heavenly assignment.”

To add to Gillard’s list of gifts & talents, he also serves as a Pastor.  He is the pastor of Wealthy Place International Ministry. His mission is to equip the saints for the kingdom. “God has called us to seek the lost and to be his hands and mouth on this earth, as he is, and so are we in this world.” Out of all his musical productions and accomplishments, his greatest aspiration is to continue to be the best father to his three girls; Jada, Jamiah, and Da’via.
